Soft tissue therapy is a type of massage therapy that combines specific massage techniques, therapeutic stretching and exercise to help people who injure the soft tissues of their body. These can be sports-related injuries such as sprains, tendinitis, and pulled muscles; injuries from repeated overuse such as lower back pain and carpal tunnel syndrome; or even a single-incident such as a fall or sudden twist of the body.
The length and intensity of the treatment depends of the severity of the injury. Soft tissue therapy is generally focused on the area that is injured rather than the body as a whole.
We are sad to report that this service is no longer available at our facility; but, if needed, your provider can refer you to other therapists for this type of therapy.
